What is an F1 Cockapoo?
An F1 cockapoo is a first-generation cross between a Pedigree Cocker Spaniel and a pedigree Poodle. Ours are bred from Show-Type Cocker Spaniel mums and Miniature Poodle dads — a pairing we’ve chosen deliberately, because it produces calm, gentle, affectionate puppies with wonderful temperaments and the soft, low-shedding coats cockapoos are loved for. F1 cockapoos tend to be intelligent, easy to train and brilliant with children, which makes them one of the most popular family dogs in the UK. Because they’re a first cross, they also benefit from genetic diversity, and — paired with our health testing below — that gives you a puppy with the best possible start.
Health-Tested Parents You Can Trust
Health is where a responsible breeder really earns your trust, and it’s something we take seriously. Both parents of every litter are fully DNA health-tested and PRA & PRCD clear — the inherited eye conditions that can cause blindness in poorly bred dogs. Breeding only from clear, tested parents means your puppy cannot be affected by these conditions, giving you genuine peace of mind for the years ahead. We’re always happy to talk you through the parents’ health results, and you’re welcome to meet mum when you visit.
How Our Puppies Are Raised
We don’t just breed puppies — we raise confident, well-socialised little characters who are ready to become treasured family members. Our litters are reared on our beautiful smallholding in West Wales and from day one they’re used to rhythms of everyday life. This early socialisation makes an enormous difference to how calmly and confidently a puppy settles into your home. Every puppy stays with us until at least 10 weeks old, so they’re fully covered by both vaccination courses before they leave.
Reserving Your Puppy
Reserving is simple. Get in touch to register your interest and tell us a little about your home and what you’re hoping for. We’ll talk you through the available and upcoming litters, and once you’ve found your match you can secure your chosen puppy with a reservation. (Please contact us for current pricing and the reservation deposit.) We deliberately home our puppies only with stable, loving families, so we’ll always take the time to make sure it’s the right fit on both sides — that’s part of being a responsible breeder.

Bringing Your Puppy Home — UK & Overseas
Most families collect their puppy from us in person, which we always recommend. We are also happy to arrange for your puppy to be brought to you by a registered pet courier. For homes outside the UK, we can also arrange rabies vaccinations and travel, so a Felindre cockapoo can join families further afield too. Just let us know your situation and we’ll talk through the options.
We LOVE meeting our new families in person. You’re welcome to visit, meet mum and spend time with your chosen puppy.
